What should I believe 4

There are still many today, who,should God appear after something sinister must have happened to them they will never believe Him again. Because the question will be;”Why did you not come on time to avart the calamity?”.You must have heard it from the mouth of Mary when Jesus got to Bethany after His friend Lazarus had been buried for four days. Her faith had expired. She affirmed,”…if you have come earlier, my brother would not have died.”John 11 vs 21.

In 2 Kings 5 vs 11,Naaman,the commander of the army of the king of Aram, had wanted to see the prophet of God but what met with him as he got to the’man of God’s: house generated doubt in his heart so much that he believed his journey and efforts were in vain.He only wanted the ‘Bishop’Elisha to attend to him,not the servant.

Do not hope to see the ‘Big shots’before your problems can be solved. Believe all you must have heard spoken by the Spirit of God about Jesus, and with that your captivity shall surely turn. Every word of God is anointed with power,and doubt or unbelief is a major stopper of their fulfillment. When you belief the word of God you turn away from sin,when you don’t belief, sin turns you away.

Unbelief,like fear,is an enemy of our Faith. Lamentation at the time of our difficulties is a product of fear generated by unbelief in our heart. Jesus said and it is true,that unless they see signs(a lot of)people will not belief Him. And Peter proved that. In Mark 11 vs 21,when on their way from Jerusalem through Bethany, he recognized that the fig tree which was cursed the day before had withered, he exclaimed.

Many want to see their sickness vanish like smoke before they can believe that they are “healed by the stripes of Jesus”. As a minister of the gospel, I have observed that as one lays hands on the sick to pray declaring that they are healed, they want to see one or many demons practically run out of their body for them to believe it is done.But Faith demands that we have to believe before we can see.” When we resist the word by unbelief, the power of God can’t come through “.Reinhard Bonnke.
