Text:John 20:19-23

“So when it was evening on that day,the first day of the week,and when the doors were shut where the disciples were,for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them,’Peace be with you.’And when He had said this,He showed them both His hands and His side.The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord.So Jesus said to them again,-Peace be with you;as the Father has sent Me,I also send you.’And when He had said this,He breathed on them and said,’Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive the sins of any,their sins have been forgiven them;if you retain the sins of any,they have been retained.'”

This is what I call,I believe,as inspired by the Holy Spirit,SPIRITUAL CLINIC.Now,what is CLINIC within the context of accountability?It is,A meeting for the diagnosis of problems,… ”

The question is,do we have the power to solve the sin problem of people?YES!

There was a time Jesus was challenged for telling someone his sins were forgiven him (Mk.2:5-10). This is where we need to respect Jesus.The thing they said He did not have power for,He now empowered us,as believers,to forgive sins by the power of the a Holy Spirit in us (Jn.20:20-23). Because we are joint-heirs with Him (Rm.8:17)

He made it clear that forgiveness of sins is a delegated authority(Jn.20:21-23). The moment anyone confesses his or her sins,and the brethren pray,the sins will be forgiven and he will be healed spiritually(Jam.5:16)

Brethren,let’s take advantage of this window of opportunity that God has provided for us to remain spiritual healthy and be able to fellowship with Him with power (Jam.5:16-17). It is left for you to know your area of Spiritual symptoms to share at the clinic.Unless you describe your case to a doctor,he will not be able to diagnose the problem.
