What should I believe? 3

Most of the troubles we see every day are programming our minds towards doubting God.And there so many great men today who must at one time or the other felt like believing that God is no more on the throne.John Knox,a scottish reformer confessed that he passed through a dark time when his soul was filled with’anger,wrath, and indignation, which he conceived against God,calling all his promises in doubt:.

The devil will never cease to come to us with his weapon of lies but we must not yield ourselves to listen at any time lest we doubt God.The voice of God is the voice of faith.That is what we must listen to and also believe. The Bible says,

“He who does not believe God has made Him a liar,because he does not believe the testimony that God has given us His son.” I John 5 vs 10.

Our liberty is indeed based on out belief in the word,the testimony of God about His son Jesus Christ. God’s blessings are for those who can believe and see His power through His son,but for those whose eyes are open to giants and walls ,defeat, shame and captivity are imminent. That is their lot.

Jesus has called us into liberty, not bondage but many are still wallowing in bondage today, not knowing that what makes them fear I’d nothing but a scarecrow. “He disarmed the principalities and rulers of darkness and made a public show of them,triumphing over them.” Announcing the finished work,He gave us power to trample upon them.But men are afraid to go ahead because of doubt.
