What should I believe

One day,I heard one of those religious people in the public assuming that he was preaching, talking and quarreling with himself about Christians that they call themselves believers yet they do not believe in other gods which they worship as God.

Of course, he (or they,)have every reason to be angry because what they believe never does them any good. And seeing those who are worshipping the only true God and waxing stronger by the day can annoy anybody

More harm has been done to individuals and their future through unbelief ‘bandage’,But they protested and resisted Him saying, “We are the descendants of Abraham and never been in bondage before.” John 8 vs 33 .

That could be what they thought was right but they were completely ignorant of what they should believe and be saved

Seeing themselves as the custodians of the laws of Moses and as the teachers of the same, they trusted in their righteousness as the executor’s of the law,finding nothing wrong with themselves. They could not understand why.”Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me,O Judah,and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God so shall ye be established;believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper

Should one say that he believes God so as to be founded and be established in the land,and not for the prosperity of his soul.?.That of course does qualify one to addressed as a believer, but that cannot take such a person very far nor can he go beyond the planet earth. Such a person is still neck deep in bondage. They can never be far form captivity.

Until the widow believed the prophet Elijah enough to carry out what he instructed her,she did not come out of her hopelessness. She has to destroy her unbelief and doubt, go ahead to do what the prophet of God had said for her miracle to take place.

Somebody said ,”whenever we are not able to take God at His word,we become drifted far from realities.It is a show of our inner feeling that the Bible cannot be trusted.”
