THE IMPORTANCE OF THE HOLY COMMUNION (THE PASSOVER)

Text:Exodus 12:1-13,23-32

The first thing I would want you to know is that,what was called Passover in the Old Testament is now called Holy Communion.

Before we talk about it’s power,let me show you how important it is that in both the Old Testament and the New Testament,the observance is commanded;it is an ordinance to be done regularly.Why?To remind you and me,including the children,of the deliverance from sin and Satanic bondage through the sacrifice of Jesus as the Lamb of God ( Ex.12:24-27,1cor.11:23-26).

It is so important that it altered the calender,making the time of celebration the beginning of months (Ex.12:1-2).Meaning,each time you are holding Communion service,you are entering a new beginning;a new beginning of a victorious life.Jesus is both the Lamb in Egypt and in the New Testament (Jn.1:29,Rev.12:10-11).As you take Communion,see the Blood of Jesus giving you victory over deaseses like coronavirus and all other Satanic viruses.Passover or Communion service reminds us of our freedom to worship God (Ex.12:31,Jn.8:36).

The Holy Communion reminds us of the joker card that the devil could not and cannot counter (Ex.11:1,Jn.19:30). Satan countered all other plagues but not the plague of the Blood of Jesus.That was why Jesus said, “It is finished” .The Communion you take will put an end to every work of the devil in your life.Take it by faith in the finished work of Christ and it will work wonders in your life.

PRAYERS

1. Lord,thank you for sacrificing your life for me to live.

2. Thank you Lord for the encountered power in the Blood of Jesus,giving me total victory over all the powers of my enemies in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Lord,let this Holy Communion work wonders in my life for a testimony.

4. With this Holy Communion,coronavirus and all other viruses shall pass over me and all that is mine in the name of Jesus.
