ARE YOU MARRIAGEABLE?

TEXT:2Cor.11:2-3

“For I am jealous for you with godly jealously.For I have betrothed you to one husband,that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ.But I fear,lest somehow,as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness,so your mind may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

I have come to admonish us today to be marriageable ,as not every believer will be married to Christ but those that keeps their chastity.Paul was afraid for his converts,because of the reception that is everywhere.Revelation 19:7 says, “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come,and His wife has made herself ready.” You are the one to make yourself ready.No one will do it for you.You just have to be determined that you will,like Daniel,not defile yourself(Dan.1:8)

You can only make it to become His wife of you are found faithful to the end as a virgin if you do not defile your courtship with.You are not yet His wife but betrothed to Him.What is the thing that can make one not marriageable?When you allow Satan to deceive you;presenting Christ differently from the way you originally received Him;receiving a different gospel and a different spirit.In one word,compromise (2 Cor.11:4).If you will make it to the marriage feast of the Lamb,keep yourself pure;undefiled.You cannot be betrothed to Jesus and you are flirting with other relationships.This is what it means to be without spots or wrinkles as the wife of Christ (Heb.5:27).You must be HOLY (Heb.12:14).

PRAYERS

1. Lord,I thank You for finding me worthy to be betrothed to you.

2. Lord,like Mary,let me be found faithful to the end,that I may make it to the marriage feast of the Lamb.

In the name of Jesus Christ,I overcome every satanic deception to lure me away from Christ.

4. Lord,in the name of Jesus,may I be found ready and marriageable when the time comes.
