“DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God:believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on me”. ( Jn.14:1). (Amplified).
“LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,believe also in me” Jn.14:1( King James).
The Bible says”where the word of a king is,there is power “.If this massage is going to affect you,you need to know who is talking. Jesus is the one talking. He that came from above and that is above all.He that will not lie.
If you look at the two different Bible versions, you see how they opened the statement with capital letters “DO NOT”, ” LET”.It reveals the weight of the statement. It also reveals the certainty of the word. The emphasis is also meant to let you know that it was not a mere statement by a mere man. This is a statement by whom I will like to call ‘Talk and Do’.
“God is not a man, that he should lie;neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said ,and shall he not make it good?” (Num.23:19.)
That is the God that is talking to you;assuring you that He is with you. He is behind you. That is what that statement means.
“With God nothing shall be impossible” (Lk. 1:37.)
