HOW TO ATTAIN THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE.

Text:2 Cor.4:16-17; 5:1-5

“Therefore we do not lose heart.Even though our outward Man is perishing,yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.For our light affliction which is but for a moment,is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.For we know that if our earthly house,this tent,is destroyed,we have a building from God,a house not made with hands,eternal in the heavens.For in this we groan,earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,if indeed,having been clothed,we shall not be found naked.For we who are in this tent groan,being burdened,not because we want to be unclothed,but further clothed,that mortality may be swallowed up by life.Now who has prepared us for this very thing is God,who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.”

According to Philippians. 3:10-11.. “..If,by any means,I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. “Child of God,nothing short of the Supernatural life does God desire for you.Not to attain to it ,is love an unfulfilled life.But there is a price to pay for you to attain to it.It is the price of death.That’s why it says ,to attain to the resurrection from the dead.Child of God,are you ready to pay !It’s an unavoidable necessity,if you must attain to the supernatural life;living above the ordinary.

Are you ready to deny the body (Mr Flesh) all those cravings?Those are things referred to as the outward Man perishing .When you will not give to the flesh what is crying for,it’s like you are punishing it and by implication,perishing it.But child of God,it is then your inward man is renewed;the supernatural life emerges.This is what it means to groan to be clothed with the habitation which is from heaven(being filled with the Holy Spirit).It will no longer be you that lives,but rather you will be living by life of Christ (Gal.2:2).Unless you pay this price,you cannot enjoy the life Jesus.gives (Jn.10:10).As you can see in verse 5 of our text,it is God that has prepared us for this thing and has also given us the Holy Spirit as a guarantee.It is not attainable in the flesh.The more you yield yourself to the Spirit,the more you manifest the resurrected life;the Supernatural life.It is possible,child of God,if you will set your priority right,The value you place on eternal things,will determine the attention and committment you give to it.It’s a choice you have to make.We can learn from Moses (Heb.11:24-27) .My prayer for you is that you will not desire and pursue anything short of this life,the Supernatural Life.

PRAYERS

1. Lord thank you for opening my eye’s to this eternal truth.

2. Lord ,let me find grace to pursue and attain to the supernatural life.

3. Lord,enable me to pay the necessary price for this high calling.

4. Lord let mortality be swallowed up by life in me,that only Jesus will be visible in my life.
