“For even hereunto were ye called:because Christ also suffered for us,living is an example, that ye should follow his steps.” 1 Peter 2 vs 21.Jesus is our only perfect example of an upright man.Therefore we need to follow His example to live an upright life. We must avoid pride and not esteem ourselves more than we oight, but lean on Him for His Spirit to indwell us.
Too many times we want to copy those we love,especially, those who must have made a mark in their various field of endeavour, but the reality is that “Imitation is limitation”(John Mason).If we must emulate any man,Jesus is our perfect example, and His holiness will become ours.
