Fight Fear And Discouragement 2

The lack of the fear of God is the beginning of the fear of everything. We fear everything because we don’t love as God has commanded us to.The people of Isreal were expected to “Love the LORD thy God”with all their hearts,Most especially after they had seen His miraculous power with which He brought them out of bondage in the land of Egypt .All through the Bible, this message has always remained the same.

“Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God;for God is love. There is no fear in love;but perfect love casteth out fear;because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love .”1 John 4 vs 7-8,18.Those who truly fear God and walk in the fear of God don’t easily fear anything else. They don’t experience the torment of fear.Anxiety, worries and fear of the unknown seem to be the sin that most people are afraid to commit. We are only supposed to fear God but now we fear everything, despite God’s warning on His word, and assurance that He is with us always…
