BE UNMOVABLE

Text: 2Cor.15:58

“Therefore,my beloved brethren,be ye steadfast,immovable,always abounding in the work of the Lord,for as much as you know that your Labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

I want to speak to you this day ,by the Spirit of the Lord,that you should be unmovable.To be unmovable is to be unshaken;is to be fearless,no matter what is happening around you.Even if the world will break,you will be firm and strong in the Lord.David said, “…I foresaw the Lord always before my face,For He is at my right hand,that I should not be moved.” (Acts.2:25). Your stability,in face of trials and difficulties,is in the LORD you see.That is why the Bible says we should be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10).

This is the time to fix your eyes on the Lord like Jehoshaphat and his people (2 Chron.20).Remember,Peter was walking on the water for as long as he was looking at Jesus,but moment he removed his eyes from Him and was looking at the wind,he began to sink.(Matthew 14:29-30).Holy Spirit,speak through Apostle Paul,admonishes that we keep looking on to Jesus,the author and finisher of our faith.(Heb.12:2).

If He did not disappoint Jehoshaphat,Job,David,the apostles,the three Hebrew children(Shadrach,Meshach and Abednego),He will not disappoint you.He is our present Help in time of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

PRAYERS

1. Thank the Lord for always being with me(Matt.28:20,Jn.8:28)

2. Lord,you took over Jehoshaphat’s battle and have him Victory.Take over every battle that my enemy is waging against me and give me Victory in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Lord,in the midst of trials and difficulties,let me find grace to keep abounding in good work in the name of Jesus Christ.
