The Power Of Prayer

"(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds ;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

It is quite instructive to note that prayer has the capacity to pull down strongholds and cast out satanic thoughts. It means, no matter how strong and fortified our enemies are, prayer will not only penetrate them, but will pull them down.

Apostle Peter was in a fortified prison, but through prayer, an angel of the Lord went in and brought him out (Acts 12:5-17).likewise Paul and Silas (Acts. 16:23-26).This why the Bible says the captive of the terrible shall be delivered (US. 49:24-25).

Through prayer, the dead is raised and brought back to life (Jn. 11:41-44, Mk 5:34-42).

Through prayer, difficult problems are solved (Mk. 9:28-29,,Mk.11:22-23, Jam. 5:13)

A prayerful believer is a terror to the Kingdom of darkness. He determines the extent to which devil operates. That is, it is when he allows the devil that he operates (Matt. 16:19).

The authority of believers is exercised through prayer (Matt. 10:1,Mk 11:23-24).

Brethren, a closed mouth is a closed destiny. If you don't want to be a prey, pray. Prayer can be both offensive and defensive, depending on the situation.
