….That I may know Him

Text:Phil.3:7-11

“But what things were gain to me,these I have counted loss for Christ.Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord,for whom I have suffered the loss of all things ,and count them as rubbish,that I may gain Christ,and be found in Him,not having my own righteousness,which is from the law,but that which is through faith in Christ,the righteousness which is from God by faith;that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,and the fellowship of His sufferings,being conformed to His death,to the resurrection from the dead.”

To know Christ is a life pursuit.No one can claim to have known Him,but rather knowing Him.When you stop knowing Him,you stop having a relationship with Him,The more you know Him,the more you receive life.Hear this “Search the Scriptures,for in them you think you have eternal life,and these are they which testify of Me.But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” (jn.5:39-40). “And this is eternal life,that they may know you,the only true God,and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”

Do you want to have life and have it more abundantly(Jn.10:10)?It is by knowing Jesus.

If you want to know Him,He said you should search the Scriptures,the Word of God.When you are searching the Scriptures,it is Him you are actually interacting with.
