Are You Born Again?

Text:Jn.3:3-7

“Jesus answered and said to him,’Most assuredly,I say to you,unless one is born again,He cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus said to Him,” How can a man be born when he is old?Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?’

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly,I say to you,unless one is born of water and the Spirit,He cannot enter the kingdom of God.That which is born of the flesh is flesh,and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.Do not marvel that I said to you,you must be born again.”

The seriousness of the massage is in the fact that it is an issue that Jesus addressed by Himself.That makes it more weighty.The issue of who enters the kingdom of God is not negotiable.It is a settled condition as to who enters.That you are a deacon,elder,Pastor,does not necessarily qualified you to enter.

Nicodemus was a leader in the Synagogue,what we call Church,yet Jesus insisted that he must be born again.The issue of born again is a must,if you will enter the kingdom of God.

The Church as a physical building is not the kingdom of God.So being a member of the Church does not mean you are a member of the kingdom,unless you are born again.

The jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs,what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30).You see the issue of ‘must’again.When it is a matter of salvation,being born again,to enter the kingdom of God,it is a must.

Paul and Solar answered the jailer, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ,and you will be saved…” ( Acts 16:31) .The most important issue in someone’s life is being born again or salvation,it must not be left unsettled.

The Holy spirit is talking to you now,saying , “Today,if you will hear His voice,do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Heb.3:15).Tomorrow may be too late.

IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO BE BORN AGAIN,PRAY THIS PTAYER.

Lord Jesus,I’m sorry for my sins;Have mercy on me and forgive me all my sins;come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior;and let my name be removed from the book of death and be transferred to the book of life.Thank you Jesus for saving me.
